DISTANCE-LEARNING THEORY COURSES

If you want to become a qualified skipper, you'll need a good understanding of sailing theory first. You can take our 9-day Theory + Practical course, or you can work through an RYA shorebased course by distance learning before coming to sail with us.

Learn Your Theory Before Arriving

If you'd prefer to get the groundwork done at home, there are several ways to do it. You can look on the RYA website to find a UK training centre - RYA Shorebased courses are run all over the country.

Alternatively you can take a distance-learning course with a specialist training centre. We recommend Teach Me Interactive, The Tiller School, and Longbow Training.
