Athens has a new International airport which welcomes daily flights from many scheduled airlines. British Airways, KLM, Air France, Olympic, and EasyJet are among the carriers. During the summer months there are additional budget operators including Globespan and Air Scotland.
The airport bus runs directly to the port of Piraeus, from which you can catch a ferry or hydrofoil to Aegina. It is about 40 minutes by hydrofoil from Piraeus to the port where our yachts are based.
Alternatively, we can arrange transfers by taxi (free for those booking a private course) with an English-speaking taxi driver if you'd prefer. Taxis are relatively cheap in Greece.
Before you book we'll send you our comprehensive directions on how to get to the school. (These have received much praise from former students!)
In less than two hours from Athens airport you will be relaxing in a taverna overlooking the fishing boats in a picturesque Greek harbour. What better way to start your sailing course? From Aegina you are perfectly placed to explore our sailing area - the Saronic and neighbouring Argolic Gulfs.
