Rib Hire and Day Trips

RIB Hire from Aegean Sailing School

We can arrange for hire of RIBs for appropriately qualified people. You will need proof of competency such as an RYA Powerboat 2 certificate or ICC plus at least two weeks experience in a similar boat to the one you intend to hire.

There is a big demand for hire boats so please contact us well in advance of the dates that you require.

Due to the risk of damage we require a safety deposit of 500euro for all RIB charter.

Day Trips in a RIB

If you would like to try powerboating without committing to a full course, we can arrange Day Trips for 2 - 5 people to various locations.

You can be picked up from a location near you - for instance Ayia Marina, Aegina Town, Perdika etc.

Your captain will help you on board the boat and give you a simple safety briefing, then you are off - perhaps to a secluded beach, or to visit a fishing port on the Methana peninsula.

You will stop for lunch and can choose between visiting a taverna or taking your own picnic with you. There will be swim stops and a chance to take photographs. During your trip you can try your hand at driving the boat for a short time.
