COMPETENT CREW, ESSENTIAL NAVIGATION & DAY SKIPPER PRACTICAL: 12 DAYS
This is a very popular option as it makes the most of a two-week holiday.
Joining your yacht on Sunday you spend the first five days taking a Competent Crew course (although the instructor will also introduce you to simple navigation).
You'll follow this with a weekend studying navigation and seamanship onshore, staying in a hotel for Saturday night. This gives you a chance to recharge your batteries after a week at sea.
Returning to the yacht on Sunday night you will complete your RYA Day Skipper course over the next five days.
It’s also sometimes possible to book a full 12 days sailing, taking the Essential Navigation course online before you come to us. Please contact us if you are interested in this option.
COURSE ESSENTIALS
ADD A RADIO OPERATOR’S COURSE TO BE READY FOR CHARTERING.
Some countries now demand that yacht skippers have a radio licence in addition to their skipper’s licence.
Why not make the most of your tuition time by tacking on a Marine Radio Operator’s course on the weekend before or after your practical course? Please contact us to find out availability.
Radio course: Special price of 115 € when taken before or after a practical course with us
